Robert B. Nealon
Robert B. Nealon, Esq., is the Senior Partner of Nealon & Associates, P.C. Mr. Nealon has been practicing law for over thirty seven years and has achieved an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the leading rating bureau for the legal profession. Mr. Nealon has been lead-trial counsel on hundreds of commercial law trials, including multi-million dollar derivative action lawsuits, security fraud, government contract fraud cases and government contract protests. Mr. Nealon has been counsel to hundreds of corporations, including insurance affinity marketing business enterprises, national manufacturing companies, and multiple financial institutions. Mr. Nealon has also been active over the years in national politics, as well as in government relations.
Mr. Nealon attended the University of Rochester (B.A., 1977) with a degree in general science and with minors in biology and psychology. Mr. Nealon then earned his Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.) in finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1978. Mr. Nealon received his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Bridgeport in 1982, where he was an Associate Editor, University Bridgeport Law Review (1981-1982). He received his Masters of Law in Taxation (L.L.M.) degree from Georgetown University in 1984.
Mr. Nealon served as an Adjunct Instructor of Corporate Law, George Washington University, from 1985 until 2005. Mr. Nealon served on the Rochester Institute of Technology Council of Business from 1992 through 2002. He has taught numerous continuing legal education (CLE) seminars to attorneys, accountants and other business professionals and has written multiple professional publications in connection with his professional teaching activities and public speaking. In addition, Mr. Nealon was formerly a Director for the National Cherry Blossom Festival and Chairman of the 1986 National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade.
Mr. Nealon was appointed to the Virginia Small Business Advisory Board by former Virginia Governor Warner and was been reappointed to this state board by Governor Kaine 2010 as its Chairman. Mr. Nealon is also a current appointee to the George Mason University Advisory Board for the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution (now the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution) in Arlington Virginia and served as Chairman for five years.
Mr. Nealon is an avid golfer, Eagle Scout and avid winter and summer sports enthusiast. He belongs to many social organizations and clubs, including the National Press Club and Old Dominion Boat Club. He
