Practice Areas

Nealon & Associates provides full corporate services from incorporation to sale, including reviewing corporate and regulatory compliance; securing lines of credit and loans with financial transactions and private entities; raising necessary capital; assisting with corporate reorganizations, acquisitions, mergers and sales; and providing legal, business and strategic advice.

Additionally, the firm’s real estate practice offers assistance with the acquisition, holding, zoning, preservation or development, and sale of real property assets.

Nevertheless, we are a true small-town general practice firm. We offer a full-service firm to individuals, families and small businesses in Alexandria and the Northern Virginia area. Our attorneys handle specific practice areas to be of service to this clientele, including business and corporate law, real estate law, estate planning and litigation, family law, as well as general civil litigation and criminal defense. In addition, each attorney collaborates with and draws upon the others’ skills and experiences to inform his or her own services. Our aim is to impart a sense of personal and careful attention to each of our clients.

Our core of attorneys is complemented by the service of three attorneys of counsel. John T. Caulfield, former general counsel to the United States Capitol Police and honored by House Resolution 156 from the 110th Congress, offers services in matters of government relations and law enforcement (licensed in Virginia).

William E. Casselman, II, former counsel to President Ford’s administration, handles government contracts and business matters (licensed in Virginia and D.C.).

Lawrence Anderson, senior partner with the law firm of Pels Anderson, LLC, in Bethesda, Maryland, offers our clients assistance with bankruptcy matters (licensed in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland). These attorneys of counsel are a valuable resource for our firm and its clients.

*Please be advised that although our attorneys and staff will handle your information confidentially, an attorney-client relationship will not be created by your review of this site, communications with our staff, or participation in an initial consultation, but rather only by the law firm and client’s entry into an engagement agreement.
